the past 2 weeks was a really good break for me - i just hung out with my parents and did mundane stuff with them, brought them out to eat at the places i usually ate, watched a concert, went to Prague (which is gorgeous by the way), and basically enjoyed being with my family again. here's a brief photologue of what we were up to...
of course we walked around UCL campus and took pik-cher at the front quad...
i brought them to chapel market to walk around (and sit down and have tea)...
went to Harrods to see extremely 'orbit' and cringe-worthy diana & dodi memorial statue...
went to the Victoria & Albert Museum (best museum i've seen in london so far i think), and sat down and had tea...
went to watch a concert at the Royal Albert Hall (which was really cool!)...
went to one of those 'state homes' called Kenwood House, near Hampstead somewhere in north london - huge sprawling grounds with amazing private art collection!
sat down and had tea at Kenwood House...
and then we were off to Prague for the weekend. i can't do justice to Prague in just a couple of lines and a few photos, so i will save it for another time.
tomorrow morning got 9am lecture. SO ULTRA MEGA SIAN.
but it's the last day of class for the 2nd term and then i have one whole month of easter break to do my assignments and whatever else.
with my parents gone now, i miss home again.
rough count - about 7/8 weeks more before CH comes up to visit and i go holiday then go home! :)
