CNY Pimples

i have been eating so much 'heaty' CNY snacks that i am breaking out in CNY pimples. when people say red is auspicious CNY colour i don't think they had pimples in mind...well i've got 5 little red zits on my face now thanks to my pigging out. i don't think i've had zits like that since i was 14, so i don't think the year of the pig augurs well for me.....

these are all my CNY snacks....


(2 packets of bak kwa, 2 tubs of pineapple tarts, 1 tub + 1 plastic bag of hae bee hiam)

my mother was responsible for half of it, susan (from my office) for the other half - thank you mummy and thank you susan!! but it is uncanny that they decided to give me the SAME types of snacks...and these are all my favourites too! these pineapple tarts are all handmade (by my auntie and susan) so i shall gobble them up lovingly over the next couple of months...yum(zits)yum...

well i'm off to istanbul tomorrow for the weekend....so i will come back with lots of photos and post them up next week.
