The Story of Jojo

since my last post, a number of people have told me that Jojo is very cute, and looks as though he is posing for the picture.
here is the story of how i got jojo....

once upon a time, i only had ONE dog - Shasha (now i have 3 dogs, but that's another story)
shasha is a hoity toity little chiobu who came with her own line of clothing, including bikinis, party dresses, and a halloween pumpkin jumpsuit. yes, her owner decided to give her to us along with a whole bag of clothes, which have since been lying in a corner unused because i think if i were a chio dog and anybody made me wear stupid looking clothes on top of my layer of pretty fur, i would freak out and die of heat.

since shasha was such a hottie and had not yet been sterilised, i decided to get her a 'child groom' (like a child bride, but for a female, and a dog). so we were looking through the papers one day and we saw an advertisement for australian silky terrier puppies! (same breed as shasha). we went to check the puppies out at the person's house, and lo and behold we saw the cutest little black puppy...



he was also going for very VERY cheap, but we thought that was easily explained by the fact that he was being sold by a private breeder instead of a pet shop.

now when we first saw jojo, we wondered - "eh, how come his fur is BLACK? aren't silky terriers all silver and beige?"
the seller assured us that all puppies were born black, and that his fur would change colour in time...

since he stole our hearts with his cute little black face, and the price was right, we decided to get him. our plan to get shasha a 'child groom' was turning out easier than expected!

jojo is now 5 years old. and he is still JET BLACK.
